I started Ivy Consulting & Credentialing in 2021 after recognizing how little support existed for behavioral health providers trying to navigate private practice, insurance credentialing, and the operational side of running a business. Providers were expected to see clients while also learning how to manage payer requirements, billing systems, enrollment, and practice operations.

Since then, my work has expanded well beyond credentialing. I have managed credentialing projects for behavioral health organizations, helped providers transition into private practice, and consulted with organizations on revenue cycle and operational systems. I work with leadership and billing teams to strengthen credentialing processes, improve EHR and billing workflows, and identify operational issues that affect revenue.

I have also developed extensive experience navigating Medicaid regulations, payer requirements, and insurance processes. I frequently serve as a liaison between behavioral health organizations and insurance payers, helping practices understand payer requirements, resolve issues, and hold payers accountable to their own policies and contractual obligations.

Being a therapist myself gives me a perspective that is different from a traditional credentialing or consulting company. I understand both sides of the practice: what it takes to provide quality clinical care and what has to happen operationally for a practice to function well.

My goal is to reduce the administrative burden on your practice or organization by implementing efficient systems, strengthening your operations, and making the business side of providing behavioral health services easier to manage.
